Fight for Your Right to Party
A foreign spin on 100 Korean music gems. Written in English by former GQ Korea editor Jung Wooyoung, Fighting for Your Right to Party explores Korean popular music through the perspectives of ten international collectors, DJs and writers. Blending essays, interviews and a curated selection of 100 Korean albums and songs spanning 1967–2022, the book offers a fresh way to discover Korean music beyond K-pop.
I designed the interior layout of the publication, extending the visual language established by Clément Johanet's cover design. Drawing from its vertical composition inspired by Korea's urban landscape, I translated the concept into the book's grid system, page numbers, and navigational elements, using elongated proportions and rotated typography to create a cohesive reading experience.
